During the fitting process of your new interior you may find that you want to add some more sound deadening in some places where we don't provide a set. Buying the felt we use for our underfelt kits off the roll allows you to trim the material into any shape no matter how odd to be fitted into your classic car!

We have two types of felt on offer for you to buy:

M6 felt- this is made from recycled clothes and textiles. This felt is 5mm thick.Ìý

N20 felt- this is flame retardant and is also made from recycled clothes and textiles. This felt is 10mm thick.

Our rolls of felt are approximately 1.4 metres wide and the quantity is per metre in length.

Originally the Herald 948 had a two tone option which unfortunately we are unable to recreate, however the Herald 13/60 used the same pattern in later production so we can offer a single colour option. There are horizontal lines embossed into the vinyl material with our high frequency welding machine as they were produced originally. The panels have all the necessary holes punched out for easy fitting.

These self adhesive Bitumen pads will help reduce noise levels. These pads were put into the original cars in the 1960's and we have been able to get hold of this material to provide a cheap and easy way to reduce vibrations within the car.

Each pad measure 30cm x 19cm (12" x 7.5") each and are manufactured from Bitumen with added mineral fillers and synthetic rubber to form a highly vicoelastic material. Due to the nature of the material these can be quite brittle when cold and may be cracked upon receipt, however as these are warmed they become very flexible and can be moulded into place within the car.

Developed specifically for their airborne sound deadening properties, these insulation pads can be used throughout restorations and are ideal for sound deadening throughout the car, from the floor pan to the doors. Flexible in nature, they fit well into the most difficult to reach spaces and have a high quality self adhesive backing.Ìý

Each sound deadening pad is 300mm x 200mm and are approximately 2.5mm thick (please note this does vary slight across the product from 2-3mm) and are sold as a convenient pack of 4.Ìý

We offer a seat fitting service for those who would prefer their seats to turn up ready to fit directly into the car. Our professional seat fitters will strip down your original seat, removing your old worn seat covers, foams and diaphragms, sandblast andÌýrepaintÌýthe seat frame and fit with brand new covers. Please note this cost only covers the labour charge for us to complete this and covers, foams and diaphragms will all need to be purchased separately. Small cosmetic welding can be completed but anything structural will need to repaired before we refurbish the seats.

Seats can be delivered directly into our Suffolk factory or we can arrange collection from most UK addresses. Please get in touch with our sales team if this is something you would like to arrange. This cost is per seat.

These covers are sewn to fit over the rear wheel arch by the rear seats. We suggest that a thin foam or thin piece of felt is glued to the wheel arch first and then the cover is adhered over the top to soften the profile.

The Herald 13/60 and Vitesse MKII 2 litre rear quarter panels have a rather unique construction and we classify this kit as a recovering kit as the integral shaped section for the deep armrest style pocket is not include. This kit includes a pair of the front facing boards, painted and grained boards for inside the pocket and material to cover the inside of the armrest section.
