During the fitting process of your new interior you may find that you want to add some more sound deadening in some places where we don't provide a set. Buying the felt we use for our underfelt kits off the roll allows you to trim the material into any shape no matter how odd to be fitted into your classic car!

We have two types of felt on offer for you to buy:

M6 felt- this is made from recycled clothes and textiles. This felt is 5mm thick.听

N20 felt- this is flame retardant and is also made from recycled clothes and textiles. This felt is 10mm thick.

Our rolls of felt are approximately 1.4 metres wide and the quantity is per metre in length.

The beauty of our Windstop is that it is easy to fit. We have developed this unit in mild steel and then we actually cover the frame in leather - not vinyl. It is amazing what a difference this windstop makes to your summer motoring (even your Winter motoring too!) The amount of wind buffeting inside the cockpit is reduced dramatically. The kit has been designed for the very late TF models that have the glass window in the soft top. Any TF enthusiast can fit the unit in about 20 minutes. No drilling is necessary. This option is for those looking for us to fit brand new covers to their existing frames. We used to have a number of existing frames for MGFs in stock as we were the only supplier during the MGFs production that provided leather seats which was a very popular upgrade. As the MGF stopped production we no longer have these frames so we will need your existing covers before we begin production. Original foams and frames will be used in this refurbishment option. For those looking to complete this work themselves or who are unable to provide the frames we do offer the seat covers only.听This price is for both seats.

Fitting -听To fit these carpets you will need to remove the seats, the rear "T" bar and cubby boxes. It is not necessary to remove any of the centre console section. Phew!! A Torx no. 50 spanner, a Philips, a flat screwdriver and some contact adhesive are the only items you require to fit this set. We estimate a fitting time of no longer than 3 hours to complete the job.

Fitting -听Simply insert the blade of a knife under the black original items and pull out of door casing. The new aluminium items should be a tight push fit in the hole. If slightly loose apply a small amount of adhesive under the Octagon .

These small hand held pump glue guns are ideal for all kinds of trimming or interior repairs, and is an essential piece of equipment for many jobs such as headlining fitting. In fact for any tasks requiring the application of contact adhesive neatly and quickly, there is nothing to beat them!听

Of patented Dutch manufacture, the body of the gun is enamelled brass, while the brushes are nylon with a brass and alloy threaded ferrule to attach and detach easily from the body. This means they are lightweight, comfortable to use and pretty much indestructible and our team use these on a daily basis throughout our factory. Regular flushing with solvent will keep the pump in good order, and it is听best to leave the brushes in solvent solution for prolonged storage to prevent hardening. The plastic cap supplied will keep the assembly airtight for shorter periods.

Designed to work in conjunction with any air-curing thick liquid contact adhesive such as evo-stick; available from all local hardware shops and DIY centres.听This does not include the glue.

These leather seat covers are designed to allow you to completely refurbish your Mk2 MGF seats. Two complete leather faced headrests are included in the kit, along with a pair of seat base and squab covers to your specification. As a fairly modern seat design, all of the necessary plastic retaining strips and internal trim hooks are built into the seat covers just as per the originals.

We were originally supplying these leather seat covers as an optional extra on brand new MGF cars through various Rover dealerships- that business has now passed but it does mean that we are fairly well versed in MGF interior trimming!

This is the top of the range, heavy duty spray glue that we use in our factory to make all our trim products on a day to day basis. We recommend you use spray glue to fit your Newton products to your car (where applicable). You will mainly use this product to fit underfelt and carpets to your floor pan. You can also use it for fitting your foams to the frames and then the seat covers to the foams. This adhesive can also be used for day to day jobs around the house. Richard Newton reckons that these pockets were one of his best inventions. There is little room in these cars for sunglasses, phones or other trinkets- so these pockets could be the answer!

These ingenious pockets are easily fitted. They come with a special Velcro backing which attaches to the carpet on the door casing and the corners are held firmly in place by self tapping screws and caps.

If you want to change the colour of these door pods, here is the answer.

As seen here, the pod assemblies are split into two parts. You will re-use your existing tops and only change the bottom half with our new leather covered items. The door panels will need to be removed from the door. Once on the bench you will see how the pods are held in place. Simply unbolt the original pods and then split the upper and lower parts of these pods and replace the cloth item with our new leather covered items. Time required about 35/40 minutes per door panel with our pictorial instructions.

This self adhesive Bitumen pad will help reduce noise levels. These pads were put into the original cars in the 1960's and we have been able to get hold of this material to provide a cheap and easy way to reduce vibrations within the car.

These pads measure 30cm x 19cm (12" x 7.5") each and are manufactured from Bitumen with added mineral fillers and synthetic rubber to form a highly vicoelastic material. Due to the nature of the material these can be quite brittle when cold and may be cracked upon receipt, however as these are warmed they become very flexible and can be moulded into place within the car.
