During the fitting process of your new interior you may find that you want to add some more sound deadening in some places where we don't provide a set. Buying the felt we use for our underfelt kits off the roll allows you to trim the material into any shape no matter how odd to be fitted into your classic car!

We have two types of felt on offer for you to buy:

M6 felt- this is made from recycled clothes and textiles. This felt is 5mm thick.Ìý

N20 felt- this is flame retardant and is also made from recycled clothes and textiles. This felt is 10mm thick.

Our rolls of felt are approximately 1.4 metres wide and the quantity is per metre in length.

We offer a seat fitting service for those who would prefer their seats to turn up ready to fit directly into the car. Our professional seat fitters will strip down your original seat, removing your old worn seat covers, foams and diaphragms, sandblast andÌýrepaint the seat frame and fit with brand new covers. Please note this cost only covers the labour charge for us to complete this and covers, foams and diaphragms will all need to be purchased separately. Small cosmetic welding can be completed but anything structural will need to repaired before we refurbish the seats.

This is a replacement headrest cover. The bottom of your headrest has a plastic plate which can be unscrewed which will then show staples which hold the cover in place. Remove the cover. Turn your new cover inside out and slowly slide it over the foam turning it the right way. Check before stapling that the foam fills the cover completely-old age of the foam may have caused it to have shrunk in size slightly.

1973 cars had a new design of seat which not only reclined but had headrests fitted for the first time on Spitfire models. The vinyl material was also changed from previous models to a courser grain known in the Trade as "1290" grain. This panel is made of Bitumen board which is waterproof. The board is stamped out on our 60 Ton press and the two sides have black metal strenghening strips applied. Each board comes with four metal brackets to attach it to the vehicle. Small nuts and bolts are not supplied.

Our door panels are exact replicas of the Factory originals. The material on this model had a courser grained vinyl finish than earlier models.(Known as \1290\" grain in the Trade) The panels are die cut on our 60 ton presses and have all the correct holes and apertures for the perfect fit. The carpet kick panels are firstly sewn to a vinyl surround which in turn are welded to the face panel on our High Frequency welding machine."
