During the fitting process of your new interior you may find that you want to add some more sound deadening in some places where we don't provide a set. Buying the felt we use for our underfelt kits off the roll allows you to trim the material into any shape no matter how odd to be fitted into your classic car!

We have two types of felt on offer for you to buy:

M6 felt- this is made from recycled clothes and textiles. This felt is 5mm thick.听

N20 felt- this is flame retardant and is also made from recycled clothes and textiles. This felt is 10mm thick.

Our rolls of felt are approximately 1.4 metres wide and the quantity is per metre in length.

This self adhesive Bitumen pad will help reduce noise levels. These pads were put into the original cars in the 1960's and we have been able to get hold of this material to provide a cheap and easy way to reduce vibrations within the car.

These pads measure 30cm x 19cm (12" x 7.5") each and are manufactured from Bitumen with added mineral fillers and synthetic rubber to form a highly vicoelastic material. Due to the nature of the material these can be quite brittle when cold and may be cracked upon receipt, however as these are warmed they become very flexible and can be moulded into place within the car.

Please note this product will only be suitable for a Saloon. We have developed our own in house tooling to recreate the Mk.I rear parcel tray. The board underneath the carpet covering is not the same as the original VW product with many holes in it however we are using a more modern automotive board that is used in VW cars today. We actually mould this board on our heated tooling then apply a carpet material that matches our own carpet sets. Also supplied are two pieces of matching carpet to cover the rear outer panels on which the shelf is hinged. At the front of the product is a flap of carpet which in conjunction with a metal bar (not supplied) allows the tray to be screwed to the rear seat. At the rear are the original rubber straps that can be attached to the tailgate. This is a brilliant new product.听

AT LAST-----Original specification door panels for all Golf Mk.I models. We have made our own tooling to produce these very authentic door panels. The board is made of the correct type of 2.4mm thick hardboard and the weld pattern on the front is identical to the original design. These panels will fit cars fitted with either a) horizontal door pulls b) cars fitted with angled door pulls. There are also holes for cars with interior mirror adjustment which are already cut out of the board.Other colours can be ordered-please see our colour swatch tab on the homepage. The board is made of the correct type of 2.4mm thick hardboard and the weld pattern on the front is identical to the original design. These panels will fit cars fitted with either a) horizontal door pulls b) cars fitted with angled door pulls. There are also holes for cars with interior mirror adjustment which are already cut out of the board. Not seen in this photograph as it is hidden by the lower pocket is a hole already cut out in the panel for you to fit the speakers.Other colours can be ordered-please see our colour swatch tab on the homepage. They might be more expensive though!
